Installing MobileFirst Platform Server v7.1 on WAS ND - Step 3

START WAS ND

Now we have the Oracle database sorted out, let's start WAS ND.

We do that by starting the DMgr (Deployment Manager) and then starting the Node that we've defined for this VMWare.

We can now switch to the Web Browser to use the WAS Admin Console to start the Server.

To those who use WAS all the time, the Admin Console probably makes perfect sense. To those of us who only occasionally breeze through and touch only the bits we need to, it does look a bit daunting. Never the less, we will only be using certain parts of the Admin Console and we will use them repeatedly, so you'll become more familiar the more you use it.
